After reclaiming second place in the Manufacturers’ World Rally Championship, the Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team now heads to Spain for RallyRACC Catalunya – Costa Daurada. Mads Østberg/Jonas Andersson and Kris Meeke/Paul Nagle will be tasked with defending the team’s position at the only mixed-surface event on the WRC calendar. Khalid Al Qassimi/Chris Patterson will be competing alongside them in the team’s third DS 3 WRC.

Since 2010, Rally de España has become something of a special round on the World Championship calendar. Based in Catalonia, this mixed-surface event serves up a unique course for the crews, with the opening leg held on gravel before switching to tarmac for Saturday and Sunday. Read More »

Audi DTM Green15aLeicestershire’s Green misses out on DTM “crown” by 19-points.

Audi’s Jamie Green has finished the highest-placed British driver in this year’s Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM). Green, from Broughton Astley near Leicester, finished runner-up in the final standings of the 18-race series that came to a close at Hockenheim last weekend (17-18 Oct). Read More »

Geoff and orphaned elephantKenyan based Geoff Mayes will return to British rallying action on next months JLT Tempest Rally. Mayes will be co-driven by Kim Buxton in a Geoff Jones Motorsport run Proton Satria with support from Maxxis Tyres and Silverspread Kenya. Mayes, a safari guide and wildlife photographer, will use the car to promote the “Hands off our Elephants” social media campaign in an effort to stop the poaching crisis currently decimating Africa’s wild elephant population. WorldRX15 BakkerudNorway’s Andreas Bakkerud became the sixth different winner in the 2015 FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy after triumphing at this weekend’s World RX of Italy. Volkswagen Team Sweden’s Johan Kristoffersson finished as runner-up, with points-leader Petter Solberg third.
