BHRC16 TVThe MSA British Historic Rally Championship will have a new TV partnership with the team at Special Stage for the 2016 season.

The entire 2016 season will be filmed by Special Stage and each event will be covered in a review programme on Motors TV. In addition, the historic action will feature in the company’s acclaimed magazine programme, Special Stage Extra. All of the output will be widely available on YouTube and through the championship’s social media platforms.

As well as the regular review programmes, a series of mini-features will be produced to preview events and look at particular stories within the championship. These edits will be widely available for on-line viewing.

Championship manager Colin Heppenstall said: “We’re pleased to welcome the Special Stage team to the BHRC. Wayne Goldring and his crew have a fine record in British rallying and I believe that their coverage will be another boost for the championship.”

Wayne Goldring from Special Stage said: It’s great to be working with the BHRC in 2016. Our coverage is made by rally enthusiasts for rally enthusiasts, and we look forward to bringing our experience and enthusiasm to the championship. The BHRC was keen to expand on the current level of coverage with additional TV and on-line features, and that was something that we were keen to get behind. Whilst TV still offers the best platform for promoting the championship and its partners, the additional on-line coverage allows us to give the fans a little bit more, as well as reaching a whole new potential worldwide audience.”

In 2016, the Roger Albert Clark Rally Motor Club will promote the MSA BHRC in the second year of a five-year contract. The championship will be officially launched at Autosport International at the Birmingham NEC (14-17 January) when championship registrations will be open.
