The twelfth and final round of the FIA WTCC 2015 will take place at the Losail circuit in Qatar. The main talking point of this season’s finale will be the duel between Sébastien Loeb and Yvan Muller, who are separated by just five points in the race for championship runner-up. Ma Qing Hua will be seeking to hang on to his fourth position, an achievement which would see the Citroën Total team pull off the unprecedented feat of winning the top four places in the drivers’ standings. José María López may have secured the title in Thailand*, but he will not be resting on his laurels: the Argentine driver could equal or improve on some of the records he set in 2014.

Qatar is getting ready to be enthralled by the cut and thrust of the World Touring Car Championship as it prepares to host its first ever WTCC meeting. – For the first time ever, the Williams Martini Racing motorhome will be constructed away from a race circuit, forming a major part of the revamped stage and providing a focal point for a celebration of all things Williams
– Stage will feature one of the largest collections of Williams Formula One cars away from Grove, from the Williams-Ford FW06 of 1978 to the latest Williams-Mercedes FW37 of 2015

Porsche Bahrain15bPorsche has concluded the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) in Bahrain by taking the sixth consecutive race win and the second title this year. For Mark Webber (AUS), Brendon Hartley (NZ) and Timo Bernhard (DE) fifth place in the six-hour race was enough to win the Drivers’ World Championship. What an end to the season for Porsche in the Sports Car World Championship WEC (World Endurance Championship): On Saturday at the six-hour race in Bahrain, the Porsche 911 RSR driven by Frenchmen Frédéric Makowiecki and Patrick Pilet not only scored the fourth GTE-Pro class win of the season – Porsche also netted three championship titles with the 470 hp winning racer from Weissach, which is based on the iconic 911 sports car.

From mud holes and punctures to dramas with the engine mounting bolts breaking and almost ending their event. The NM Rallying team of Nick Mason (Waltham Abbey) and Harpal Sudle (Leeds) have made it to Lake Manyara in Tanzania for the mid rally rest day. During the past four days the D-Mack Tyres, Proflex Suspension, Swift Energy, Binani Cement, World Rubber and CPM Concrete supported Datsun 240Z has endured a collision with a concrete culvert, narrow misses with wildlife, swollen rivers and thick glutinous mud. After over 1500 kilometres of rallying action the pair find themselves nestled between a Triumph TR7 V8 and a Ferrari, on the fringes of the top twenty overall.
