The McLaren 650S GT3 claimed class victory and fourth place overall at the Sepang 12 Hours this weekend, bringing an end to the competitive debut season of the car, and crowning what has been the most successful campaign to-date for the Woking outfit. McLaren GT Factory Driver Alvaro Parente and Young Driver Andrew Watson joined customer team FFF-Racing to secure a hard-fought victory in the Pro-Am category, and narrowly missed a podium finish overall as the flag fell after 12 hours of close racing.

DS Virgin Racing will be looking to round off 2015 in style, when the FIA Formula E Championship returns to Uruguay this weekend.

After securing the team’s first podium finish of the 2015-16 FIA Formula E season during an eventful race in Putrajaya, Malaysia, last month, Sam Bird will be looking for another strong performance on the streets of Punta del Este in order to secure his position within the top three driver championship standings.

For team mate Jean-Éric Vergne, Punta del Este will bring back some fond memories – it was here where the Frenchman made his Formula E debut last season when he stormed to pole position before his race was ultimately cut short. Read More »
