Race Retro will welcome a display of Classic Trials riding for pre-1965 machines, headed up by seven times Isle of Man TT winner Mick Grant, when it returns to Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th February.

Speaking of the Classic Trials, Mick said “This demonstration isn’t to show how brilliant we are at trials riding, simply because we’re not, it’s to show how much fun can be had with these old bikes. The Pre ‘65 scene is very healthy and growing all the time, with most club events having a class for Pre ‘65 motorcycles. It’s possible to find a trials event to ride in almost every weekend.”

The demonstration will involve a number of man-made wooden ‘sections’, which will be tacked by Ex-Milk Tray Stuntman Arthur Browning, who will be riding a Rare Jawa 500c machine. Read More »

Entries are now open for the opening round of the new Fuchs Lubricants R.A.C. Historic Asphalt Rally Championship, and places on the Bovington Stages (5/6 March) are filling rapidly.

Event regulations are available from http://www.bdcc.org.uk

25 places were taken in the first 12 hours after the regulations were published and there are only 90 places available. So R.A.C. contenders are being urged to enter as quickly as possible.

The Bovington Stages, based near Dorchester, offers 90 stage miles for just £245 and features six stages each day. Documentation and scrutineering is open on Saturday morning and an early finish on Sunday will allow crews to start the journey home in good time. Read More »
