Leading flooring and carpet firm All Floors Express has renewed its backing of Cumbrian rally ace Aaron McClure as he bids to secure the 2016 BTRDA Production Cup title.  The nationwide internet retailer has supported McClure since his first season in the F1000 Junior Rally Championship, but the backing was due to expire at the end of the 2015 season. However, thanks to the promise showed by the 21 year old in his debut season in a four-wheel drive Mitsubishi E9, McClure secured a deal to extend his support throughout 2016.

Progression has been the key to McClure’s rallying career which has seen him compete across the UK including the BTRDA and British Rally Championships.  With the announcement that the British Championship was taking a sabbatical in 2015, McClure looked to increase his experience in a wide range of machinery and acquired a Gp N Mitsubishi E9. Tackling the hotly contested N4 class, McClure’s pace was impressive throughout the year and despite two event ending rolls, finished the year third.

McClure believes he has unfinished business in the series and thanks to the continued backing of All Floors Express, will return to the championship in a bid to take the title at the second attempt.  “All Floors is a name synonymous with my rallying career and I really could not have progressed as far as I have without them” says McClure.  “I’m overjoyed that they have put their faith in me once again this year and I really hope to reward them with the Production Cup title this time around.  They have been with us through thick and thin so it’s time to repay their loyalty”.

All Floors Express Managing Director Martin Johnston is delighted to renew their support of McClure once again. “Aaron really is a popular rally driver in the UK and the perfect ambassador of our brand” he says.  “We are proud to be associated with him once again in 2016 and wish him all the best for the 2016 season.”
