Autosport International is living up to its billing as Europe’s premier pre-season motorsport event with a roll call of global racing superstars both past and present appearing at the NEC.

An all-star cast of motorsport heroes will be lead by Damon Hill OBE who will be reunited with his winning Williams FW18 car – exactly 20 years since winning the 1996 Formula 1 World Championship. Revered triple World Champion Petter Solberg joins Hill at Autosport International and will be piloting his Citroen Xsara World Rally car around the confines of the 5000-seater Live Action Arena.

Joining Solberg in the Live Action Arena for a special guest appearance on the afternoon of Sunday 17th is current Williams Martini Racing driver, Felipe Massa who will be driving the magnificent Williams FW08C in between appearances on the Autosport Stage and autograph signing sessions.

You’ve seen him on TV and racing around the Isle of Man TT and now visitors to Autosport International will get the chance to see Guy Martin appearing on both Saturday 16thand Sunday 17th. Guy will star in the Live Action Arena where he will be wowing crowds on a Honda CRF450 Short Track bike, performing with a number of other riders in a show that’s not to be missed.

Reigning Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Champion Gordon Shedden will be present too, celebrating his memorable 2015 championship win with the fans in appearances at the popular Autosport Stage as well as many autograph signing sessions over the course of the four-day event.

The 2015 champion will be also be joined by fellow BTCC drivers and former Championship winners Andrew Jordan, Matt Neal and Colin Turkington on the Autosport Stage in what is expected to be an action-packed event.

There will also be a host of famous faces from the Williams Martini Racing team, including Deputy Team Principal, Claire Williams,Chief Technical Officer Pat Symonds, Chief Performance Engineer, Jakob Andreasen and Head of Performance Engineering, Rob Smedley,

Former F1 driver and three-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, Allan McNish will be present to dissect the year in motorsport, including the growing FIA World Endurance Championship, which saw Porsche take overall honours in dramatic fashion in 2015.

As well as Guy Martin, representing the bikers are 500cc motorcycle legend Wayne Gardner, who won the title on a factory Honda in 1987, and ‘The Prince of Speed’, Phil Read – the first person to win championships in the 125cc, 250cc and 500cc classes. Fans will have the chance to attend Read’s book-signing sessions on Saturday 16 January and Sunday 17 January, where he will be promoting his new autobiography ‘Rebel Read’.
