The Fiambala dune section proves once again why it is the most notorious stage of the Dakar Rally.

Day 12 proved to be a “a hard day in the office” for many, many competitors including the MINI ALL4 Racing family.

Nasser Al-Attiyah (QAT) moved to second place overall behind leader Peterhansel despite a difficult day. This brilliant result came about after a marvellous recovery from an incident early in the Special Stage. Jost Capito– Board Member for Development Welsch thanks outgoing Motorsport Director for successful work.

Volkswagen Motorsport Director Jost Capito (57) is to leave the company by mutual agreement during the course of this year to take on a new professional challenge. Capito has been responsible for the Volkswagen brand’s engagement in motorsport since mid-2012 and led the works team to three FIA World Rally Championship titles in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Read More »

Carlisle Stages pre16With continued title sponsorship from DMACK, the 2016 Carlisle Stages (Saturday 11 June) will offer 44 stage miles in the Kershope and Newcastleton complexes for contenders in the BTRDA Rally Series and several regional championships.

Porsche BoxsterBenchmark roadster wins top honour for fourth year in a row.
