PR_DW_MW02Bentham’s David Wright was denied a win on round 2 of the BTRDA rally championship, the Malcolm Wilson rally, last weekend after mechanical issues on the final stage of the event lost him time.

Despite suffering from a lack of brakes for part of the opening Comb stage Wright and co-driver Steve Pugh were third fastest in their Grove Hill Garage and Kumho Tyres-supported Ford Focus WRC. Read More »

DS Virgin Racing’s Sam Bird scored more points for the team at a dramatic ePrix on the 2.09km Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit in the heart of Mexico City.

Having overcome the challenges of a dusty track during Free Practice One and Free Practice Two, both Sam Bird and Jean-Eric Vergne finished top of their qualifying groups, setting an optimistic tone in the DS Virgin Racing garage prior to the race.

Bird managed to achieve this despite having his qualifying lap disrupted by Nelson Piquet Jr crashing out at the first chicane and taking out the barriers. Read More »

The long winter break for participants in the Brick & Steel Junior 1000 Ecosse Challenge is almost over and engines will be fired up for the first round on 19th March 2016. The first round is a double first because it is the first time the venue has been used for a stage rally. Members of Glenrothes Motor Sport Club have worked with the MOD to get the use of the runways and perimeter roads of Condor Base near Arbroath. The event name is The Memorial Garden Junior Stages Rally.  45 Commando Marines are based at Condor, Arbroath and the memorial gardens acts as a memorial to show respect, recognise and praise their courage.
