Sam Bird clinched pole position but finished sixth for DS Virgin Racing in the Long Beach ePrix after contact with a tyre wall ruined his chance of victory.

Starting from pole position, Sam Bird maintained his lead over second placed Lucas Di Grassi for the first part of the race, before Di Grassi finally managed to pass him on lap 12. Bird was hot on his tail for the remainder of the first stint and, after a clean car changeover, Bird emerged just behind Di Grassi again as the battle for the lead continued. Read More »

100_Mull'15_081020-year-old Blair Brown from Kinross is eagerly looking forward to making his Irish rallying debut with Duns co-driver Richard Simmonds when the Scotsmen contests the DMACK Junior British Rally Championship this weekend at the Circuit of Ireland in his Ford Fiesta R2T.

Brown who has been rallying since 16 has faced a steep learning curve this year but so far he has acquitted himself well.  Commenting on the challenge ahead Blair Said “This is a massive event for us. In the opening meeting of the 2016 FIA World Touring Car Championship, the Citroën Total team has proved it remains the team to beat. Despite the 80kg of ballast the Citroën C-Elysée WTCCs were required to carry, José María López won the main race and left the Paul Ricard circuit at the top of the World Championship standings.

BHRC16 RNWbJason Pritchard and Phil Clarke took their second win of the season on Rally North Wales (Saturday 2 April), the second round of the 2016 Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship.

Once again, Pritchard and Clarke traded times with Nick Elliott and Dave Price and it was a chicane in the opening stage that proved central to the final result. Read More »
