As Formula E charges home to Europe, the first race on the European calendar is in the French capital of Paris, with a 1.93km city centre track around the iconic venue of Les Invalides. Home to DS Automobiles and DS Virgin Racing driver Jean-Eric Vergne, the Paris ePrix is an important race for the team as they continue to challenge for a leading position in the overall championship standings.

On 23 April, the French capital will welcome the FIA Formula E Championship for the first time. McLaren Britsh GT16McLaren Automotive has confirmed it will be the official Safety Car partner of the SRO-run British GT Championship for the 2016 season, ahead of the opening round this weekend at the famous Brands Hatch circuit. WorldRX16 Team AustriaRound 1 of the 2016 World Rallycross Championship takes place April 16th and 17th in cold and rainy Montalegre, Portugal. A week before the event snow covered the race track for a day. It has to be expected that it will once again be a muddy event like in 2015 and driver skill will be an essential aspect of keeping things together.  Janis Baumanis racing with #6 and Timur Timerzyanov as #7 have participated In successful pre-season testing and look forward to their first opportunity to compete.

The people of World RX Team Austria have been working virtually and literally day and night for two months to prepare everything from race trucks to spare parts to test days.
