This is a chance for dedicated motor fans to show what Car Culture means to them, from driving cars, building cars or the lifestyle surrounding the passion for motors, this is a chance to be creative!

Jamie McToldridge from Players Show stated, ‘It’s all about making something that’s accessible and supports the scene. The competition is open to anyone with a camera – you could even shoot it with the camera on your phone to be honest. As long as it’s engaging, and about cars – whether that’s painting, drifting, building, racing or cleaning them – we want to see it.’

Entrants can submit their edits to ThrottleandShutter.com, which will then be uploaded to their page for all to view. Edits should be between 30 seconds and 5 minutes long. The edits that make the cut will be screened at the Monster pop up Cinema at Players Classic at Goodwood Motor Circuit on the 11th of June. Competition closes on the 1st September.

Drifting legend and Monster Energy’s Nicolas Hamilton is set to be on the judging panel to choose the winning film.  “I am mega exited to be joining the judging panel for X Car film at the Players Classic this year. In 2015, I was giving passenger rides in my BTCC Car around the iconic circuit and so it is a great pleasure for me to be playing a different role this year in judging what I am sure will be some awesome pieces of work. I am massively into film and the art that goes into it, so I cannot wait to get started. See you guys there!”

After being announced live at the Players Show in North Weald on the 18th September, the lucky winner will be flown out to a Ken Block event to film and create a movie with the Hoonigan team! Jamie stated ‘It’s such an awesome prize for the winner– getting to fly out and film Ken Block at one of his events. It’s hugely exciting, and I can’t wait to see it all go live.”
