Centrepiece of the UK Pavilion (Stand 3320) is the stunning Aston Martin Vulcan – featuring an engine developed by Prodrive.

A broad range of cutting-edge, energy-efficient automotive technologies will also be showcased.

As the world’s principal trade organisation for Motorsport and High Performance Engineering, the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) has partnered with the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC), Innovate UK, Niche Vehicle Network (NVN) and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) to showcase some of the UK’s most innovative automotive technologies on the UK Pavilion (Stand 3320 – Hall 3), throughout Engine Expo 2016 at Messe Stuttgart, Germany – between 31 May and 2 June 2016.

Engine Expo is a core element of Europe’s leading automotive engineering group of events – which attract 500+ exhibitors and over 11,000 attendees from the global Automotive OEM and supplier community.

The Pavilion’s stunning centrepiece will be the Aston Martin ‘Vulcan’ Hypercar, which incorporates a broad range of UK-developed engineering solutions. This will be complimented by technology displays from Advanced Innovative Engineering, Aeristech, Bladon Jets, Brunel University London, Catagen, Cella Energy, Cosworth, Dearman Engine Company, Equipmake, GKN Hybrid Power, Oaktec, Prodrive, RML Group and Sunamp.

UK companies continue to pioneer the development of innovative, cutting-edge solutions, which are increasingly being applied within automotive and beyond to significantly improve vehicle efficiencies. This world-class R&D is underpinned by the UK’s unique innovation landscape, where industry and government work together, enhanced by a comprehensive funding and support and structure. This powerful presence will demonstrate the UK’s unique position as a globally- significant ‘vortex of innovation’ for energy-efficient development and production.
