Brown in actionRochdale rally ace Steve Brown headed to Belgium last weekend to kick off his Flanders International Rally Challenge (FIRC) campaign and came away with a confidence boosting fifth in class and 54th overall at the ORC Canal Rally.  After finishing runner up in the B9 class of last year’s MSA Asphalt Championship here in the UK, Brown is heading across the English Channel this season in his Nissan Micra Kit Car and the season-opening result has kick started his 2016 championship assault. 2016 guest Damon Hill on Motor Sport stand at Race RetroRace Retro will be ‘powered by’ Motor Sport Magazine when the historic motorsport show returns to Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, in 2017. Held from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th February, the new three-year partnership will see Motor Sport’s Hall of Fame develop into a live spectacle within a dedicated Motor Sport Magazine Hall at Race Retro.

The maverick British driver James Hunt took his only Driver’s Championship in 1976, and Omologato is paying tribute to his achievement with a limited edition watch dedicated to the team that launched his F1 career.

The Hesketh Racing Chrono by Omologato marks the iconic Hesketh Racing team, which competed in F1 from 1973 to 1978. It was this car in which Hunt made his name and the one that he drove to his very first victory in the sport in 1975. The following year he went one better and challenged for the overall title in one of the most famous, dramatic and controversial championships of all time, immortalized in the 2013 film, Rush.
