renault-edams-16-7FIA Formula E Teams’ champion Renault e.dams today revealed the dynamic new livery it will use to defend its team and driver crown in the 2016/17 championship.

The champions unveiled a livery featuring a vivid blue colour with flashes of bright yellow that will make the Renault Z.E.16 stand out from the Formula E pack. The new livery will be on show at the Renault stand in the Paris Motorshow from tomorrow, alongside the Renault Sport Formula One Team R.S.16 car that currently contests the FIA Formula One World Championship. worldrx16-pre-latviaThe FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy will visit Latvia for the first time this weekend (1-2 October) as the world’s best rallycross drivers compete at a new state-of-the-art rallycross circuit at Bikernieki, located just 15 minutes from central Riga.  A total of 49 600bhp Supercars will compete in Riga as part of the World RX and Euro RX categories. kames16-retsonfalconerTwo days,  Two rallies, Two different seasons and Two different winners!!  That was the Kames Autumn Rally and the Albar Kames Trophy rally weekend on 24th / 25th September organised by East Ayrshire Car Club at the Kames Motorsport Complex, Muirkirk. 13 Junior 1000 crews made up the bulk of the entry on the Saturday and 14 on the Sunday.  Saturday was wet and windy for most of the day whilst Sunday was clear with sunshine for most of the day and then very heavy showers from 4pm on.  So the 2 rallies presented the young drivers with 2 sets of very different conditions. The day after securing its third consecutive FIA World Touring Car Championship title, Citroën shone in the races at the Shanghai circuit, with José María López, Yvan Muller and Mehdi Bennani giving the C-Elysée WTCC its first one-two-three finish of the season. Yvan Muller’s two podium places secured his position as second in the Drivers’ World Championship, now with a healthy lead over his rivals. Mehdi Bennani has sewn up the WTCC Trophy, the competition for independent drivers.
