omologato-saOmologato Watches have opened a new retail outlet for motoring and watch enthusiasts in South Africa.

Details on the new outlet can be found at http://www.omologatowatches.co.za and continues to build on the success of Omologato’s sustained period of growth over the course of the last financial year of trading. This year has seen exponential growth from sales of motorsport inspired timepieces from across the globe.

Launching a new outlet in another country follows a tremendously successful year for the British based company. The release of several limited edition watches coupled with unique partnership and events has seen increased global demand for Omologato timepieces.

Omologato has produced over seventeen exclusive timepieces over the course of the past year, each with a telling motorsport heritage story to tell. The 722 pays tribute to the epic Mille Miglia race and the triumphs accomplished by Sir Stirling Moss on the legendary road circuit in Brescia, Italy, whilst the design of The Indianapolis revolves around the synonymous ‘yard of bricks’ on the start / finish line of the raceway and newly-launched The Salzburg honours the Porsche 917 which was driven to victory by Richard Attwood to victory in the treacherous conditions of Le Mans in 1970.

South Africa is renowned for having a rich motor racing heritage especially with the now Porsche owned Kyalami Racetrack, with a large motorsport fan base. Omologato Watches are committed to delivering a timepiece which incorporates a phenomenal motorsport story into each of its uniques products. The new outlet is open now and watches are ready to ship direct from Centurion near Johannesburg. South African fans can keep up to date with the latest Omologato chronographs and events on the new website or on the dedicated Instagram and Twitter pages @OmologatoSA.

Omologato founder Shami Kalra said: “We are tremendously excited to launch a new venture in South Africa which is now amongst our top 5 markets. It is a further sign of the tremendous growth we have seen not just at home but from across the world this year.

Omologato’s core belief is that everyone should own a watch with a story and we are proud to work with our partners Hermann Sluiter and Dean Barkhuizen in South Africa to ensure that every motorsport fan has the opportunity to own one of our unique timepieces.”
