Chesterfield rally driver Rhys Yates marked his intentions for his Prestone MSA British Rally Championship campaign last weekend as he took 6th overall at the Malcolm Wilson Rally.

Yorkshire rally driver Sam Bilham had the best possible start to his BTRDA Fiesta ST Trophy campaign last weekend by taking the category win by over two minutes from his nearest rival at the Malcolm Wilson Rally.

The 2300 Club John Easson Award winner led the nine competitors in the hotly contested single make series from the second stage of the event and was never bettered on the remaining tests in the Lake District. Read More »

Twelve months after ending his season in a Somerset ditch, Flookburgh rally driver Aaron McClure made a successful comeback to the sport on last weekend’s Malcolm Wilson Rally.

Driving his freshly rebuilt Yokohama HPT backed Mitsubishi Evo IX, McClure and co-driver Michael Gilbey took fifth spot in the ultra-competitive NR4 Production Cup and a healthy 21st overall in a field which was bolstered by British Rally Championship hopefuls using the event as a test bed for their forthcoming season. Kris Meeke won Guanajuato Rally Mexico on Sunday despite almost throwing victory away when he crashed off the road into a spectator car park less than a kilometre from the finish. Read More »

Kris Meeke and Paul Nagle kept up their impressive form and just about held their nerve on the final day of Rally Mexico. Despite running off the road a few corners before the end of the Power Stage, the Citroën Total Abu Dhabi WRT crew secured the C3 WRC’s maiden rally win.
