The TV coverage of the opening two rounds of the Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship will first be screened on Tuesday 18 April at 9am on Motorsport TV.

The first programme will cover all the action form the Red Kite Stages and Rally North Wales as Nick Elliott and Dave Price took an impressive pair of wins to take the early championship advantage.

While the championship will again feature in regular dedicated programmes on Motorsport TV, an increasing focus is being placed onto on-line content, including mini-features, editorials, previews and swift post-event summaries. On the eve of the opening British GT Championship round at Oulton Park, McLaren Automotive has confirmed the extension of the official Safety Car partnership with the SRO-managed series. Throughout the season, a variety of models from the McLaren Sports Series will manage on-track safety and coordination of the bumper grid of GT cars, which will include six examples of the 570S GT4. Following extreme testing and development at the demanding 2017 Dakar Rally, the MINI John Cooper Works Rally will make its debut in the 2017 FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies at the forthcoming Qatar Cross Country Rally on 17-22 April 2017.
