MSA Academy co-driver Phil Hall made the trip to New Zealand a worthwhile one when he guided New Zealand Rally Championship contender Rhys Gardner to sixth overall at the International Rally of Whangarei.

Hall was drafted in just weeks before the event and made the last minute trip to sit alongside Gardner as he bids to take the New Zealand domestic series honours in his potent Mazda 2 AP4.  After finishing third in the opening round of the series, Gardner had high hopes of another solid finish with Hall alongside. The special award winners from the third round of the 2017 Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship, the Pirelli Historic Rally (Saturday 29 April) have been announced.

Phil Harris and Richard Suter collected the award for the ‘Best Improvement on Seeding’, which is a set of axle brake pads from Mintex. Another fine performance in their Mini Cooper S claimed Category 1 spoils and an impressive 19th overall in the historic field. Read More »
