This famous half mile oval track built for the Nascar Whelan Series in 2012 would play host to the first round of the Drift GP European Championship. Rochdale rally driver Steve Brown endured a disappointing debut of his new car in Belgium last weekend, with a broken brake pipe forcing the Honda Civic pilot out of the ORC Canal Rally after just the second stage of the event.

Brown had been forced to delay the use of the Honda at the beginning of his Flanders International Rally Challenge campaign due to transmission gremlins at a pre-season test, so was hopeful of a decent result at the second round of the series in his new steed. Read More »

Progressive British rally co-driver Phil Hall made the trip to Australia a worthwhile one last week, as he guided up-and-coming native star Rhys Pinter to a class win at the National Capital Rally.

The Force was strong for Renault Sport Formula One Team’s Jolyon Palmer in today’s Grand Prix de Monaco with a season-best eleventh position the result after 78 laps around the most iconic circuit in the Formula 1 galaxy. Jolyon started from P16 and drove a mature race to finish just 1.3 seconds away from the points. Nico Hülkenberg was curtailed in his quest to storm up the order due to a gearbox issue on lap 16.
