The FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy will return after a five-week summer hiatus as the teams travel out of Europe for the first time this year for World RX of Canada this weekend (4-6 August). For the fourth year in a row, World RX joins the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivieres (GP3R) – now in its 48th year – for a week-long motorsport extravaganza. The special award winners from the sixth round of the 2017 Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship, the Harry Flatters Rally (Sunday 30 July) have been announced.

John Williams and Gethin Sollis (Ford Escort Mk1), who finished third in Category 2 and won the 1600cc division, collected the award for the ‘Best Improvement on Seeding’, which is a set of axle brake pads from Mintex. Read More »

Rob Smith and Alun Cook took their second victory in the 2017 Fuchs Lubricants R.A.C. Historic Asphalt Rally Championship on round four, the Harry Flatters Rally on Sunday 30 July.

For the first time this season, the Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship and the Fuchs Lubricants R.A.C. Historic Asphalt Championship came together on the same event and a mighty battle for top Fuchs points raged between Smith/Cook and Neil Williams/Sion Jones in their Ford Escort Mk2s. After a tremendous day-long battle on Epynt, Cook took the championship maximum by just five seconds. Read More »
