Another weekend, and another event for Baggsy to tick of the calendar. This time Baggsy would make his way to Eskilstuna in Sweden for Round Four of Drift GP. Armed with his #PS13V6 fresh from a few upgrades at Abbey Motorsport, Baggsy was ready to tear up the black top of GTR Motorpark. A purpose built uphill drift track with nine clipping points, two wall runs and a jump.

After five gravel events, the WRC returns to tarmac for the tenth round of the season. Citroën Total Abu Total World Rally Team is fielding three C3 WRCs in the ADAC Rallye Deutschland, with Kris Meeke/Paul Nagle, Craig Breen/Scott Martin and Andreas Mikkelsen/Anders Jæger.

A SPECIAL RALLY FOR CITROËN RACING

Since 2002 and its addition to the FIA World Rally Championship calendar, ADAC Rallye Deutschland has become a major fixture. The rally’s history is closely linked to that of Citroën, with 12 straight wins in Germany – including 11 in the WRC – thanks to the talents of Philippe Bugalski, Sébastien Loeb, Sébastien Ogier and Dani Sordo. Everybody needs a break from work, and Bury St Edmunds-based farmer Angus Stamper’s preferred reward is classic car rallying, which is how he came to be driving his 1964 Mercedes 230 SL Pagoda on Bespoke Rallies’ recent Pan Am Classic event, that in turn led to his 12-year-old son Merlin possibly qualifying as the ‘World’s Youngest Rally Co-driver/Navigator’. The TV coverage of rounds five and six of the Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship will first be screened on Thursday 17 August at 4.50pm on Motorsport TV.

The programme will then be repeated at 1.10pm on Friday 18 August and at 2.40am on Friday 19 August. Motorsport TV is available on Sky channel 447 and Virgin Media channel 545.

The third programme in the schedule will cover two fast and furious asphalt events as the leading championship contenders headed to Ireland for the ALMC Stages and then to Epynt in Wales for the Harry Flatters Rally. Read More »
