MH Motorsport enjoyed a successful weekend at the penultimate round of the Prestone MSA British Rally Championship (BRC) by not only securing the Cadet Cup title but by also taking a Junior BRC podium spot at the Ulster Rally (18/19 August).

All four of the MH Motorsport run Ford Fiesta’s made the finish and with an exceptionally high attriction rate on the tough Ulster lanes, made up three quarters of the total BRC Junior and Cadet Cup finishers in the event. Read More »

This weekends Pendragon Stages Rally on Warcop ranges just off the A66 on Sunday 27th August is organised by Kirkby Londsdale Motor Club and has attracted 88 cars with another quality entry, 17 of those are STRC regulars and by my account will be the deciding event of the championship, it’s looking like either Gareth White in the Peugeot or Alan Kirkaldy in the Mark 2 Escort will come away from this weekends event clinching the title.

Having said that it will be down to the number crunchers to work out the finer details of dropped scores and class points to finalise the decision. Read More »

The ever popular Armstrong Galloway Hills Rally enters its 44th year in 2017 and organisers of the Castle Douglas based rally are anticipating one of the ‘best events ever’ on Saturday 9th September.

Sponsored by local construction and waste management solutions firm The Armstrong Group, the event is once again the final round of the ARR Craib MSA Scottish Rally Championship and competitors from across the UK and Ireland will descend on the town to contest over 40 miles of classic stages in the Galloway forests. After a tough start to the season, Prestone MSA British Rally Championship contender David White secured the BRC4 class title in his Mirage Vape Stores backed Ford Fiesta R2 at last weekend’s Ulster Rally.

Despite there being one round to go, White and co-driver son Mathew took the category win in horrendous conditions in Northern Ireland which was enough to seal the championship win. He will now head to the Rally Isle of Man without the pressures of a title to contend with. Read More »
