Trip number two for Baggsy and the #LSXR35 would see the pair bringing the smoke to the bright lights of Las Vegas. For the seventh straight year, Sam Boyd Stadium played host to the all-star Supercross exhibition that is Monster Energy Cup. This year saw the inclusion of the inaugural event #TheDuels, where 10 of the top off-road truck drivers would battle it out. And if that wasn’t enough, the DIRT SHARK #BiggestWhip contest returned to wow the crowds.

Baggsy was not only putting on a smoke show for the fans during the weekend, he had been invited as a special guest judge for #TheDuels competition. Competitors included the top off-road and short course racers such as Monster Energy’s Jeremy McGrath, BJ Baldwin, Rodrigo Ampudia, Johnny Greaves, CJ Greaves, Casey Currie, Brian Deegan, and Hailie Deegan, RJ Anderson, Ryan Beat plus Heavy D and Diesel Dave of the Diesel Brothers would also be competing. In addition there was also a Celebrity Duels race with drivers competing in the new CanAm X3 side-by-side machines. The celebrity drivers included Monster Energy’s MMA star Quinton Rampage Jackson, skateboarding star Nyjah Huston, and BMX legend Scotty Cranmer and Kevin Peraza.

The Duels arena would also play host to Dirt Sharks #BiggestWhip contest qualifiers and Baggsy’s smoke show in the #LSXR35. The GTR and its 1200hp LSX V8 gained much attention from the fans in amongst a huge offering of off-road trucks and motorbikes. But doing what he does best, Baggsy left the 40,000 strong crowd in a blanket of smoke under the Nevada desert sun.

With the Monster Energy Pit Party done for another year, it was time to head inside the stadium to check out the main event. With a $1,000,000 top prize up for grabs, the atmosphere that Monster Cup brings is like no other. And there is no better way to experience it than up close and live.

Baggsy: After an amazing first trip to America doing demos at Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, I couldn’t wait to head out to Las Vegas for Monster Cup. I can definitely say it did not disappoint. Las Vegas is a crazy place and there is no better place to host an event like this. Being asked to guest judge #TheDuels competition was great fun and also having the opportunity to put on a smoke show with the #LSXR35 was awesome. There is so much going on at the event for the crowds and the atmosphere is unbelievable. It was great to hang out and share the arena with so many legends and fellow Monster Energy athletes from so many sports. Watching the $1,000,000 prize being won for the Supercross was unreal. A big shout out and thank you to everyone involved for such an awesome weekend. I can’t wait to come back next week for more demos at NASCAR in Kansas.
