Maldon rally driver Nabila Tejpar secured a solid finish on her World Rally Championship debut at last weekend’s Dayinsure Wales Rally GB (26-29th October).

Overcoming not one but two transmission failures during the arduous rally, Tejpar and co-driver Richard Bliss were able to cross the finish ramp in Llandudno on Sunday evening, finishing the event in 65th overall and 11th in class RC4. Read More »

The ARR Craib MSA Scottish Rally Championship (SRC) was well represented on last weekend’s penultimate round of the World Rally Championship, Dayinsure Wales Rally GB.

Crews from the championship have won the National event for the past four years, with 2016 winners Bruce McCombie and Michael Coutts heading this year’s entry list in their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX. John Wink and John Forrest (Hyundai i20 R5), Simon Hay and Calum Jaffray (Mitsubishi Evo VI) and Alasdair Graham and Laura Stuart (Mitsubishi Evo IX) also all featured among the top seeds. Brackley’s Callum Black overcame one of the toughest events in the World Rally Championship to finish last weekend’s Dayinsure Wales Rally GB. Black, in his first ever WRC event, guided his 586 Group backed Ford Fiesta R5 to 30th overall and 18th in RC2.

Fresh from a giant-killing season in the BTRDA Rally Series where he finished runner-up in the championship, the 26-year-old headed to Britain’s round of the FIA World Rally Championship where he would make his inaugural outing on the world stage. Read More »
