Richards, who founded the world leading motorsport and technology business, Prodrive, in 1984, was appointed CBE for his services to motorsport in 2005. In June, he was inducted into the Motor Sport Hall of Fame. Richard’s career includes Prodrive’s six World Rally Championship titles, four British Touring Car Championships, four Le Mans titles, the Le Mans Series, FIA WEC GTE Am Teams’ and Drivers’ title and numerous national rally championship titles.

As the new chairman MSA, Richards spoke passionately about his vision for the future of British motorsport, particularly securing the future of the British Grand Prix.
