Shelsley Walsh Speed Hill Climb has a brand new website today as the venue goes into 2018 with seven weekends of racing action up the world’s oldest motor sport track still on its original course. From 1905 to today; the start line, the corners and the straights are the same to make the hill unique in the 21st century. is now online detailing all of the events taking place at the hill. The British Hill Climb Championship visits the Worcestershire hill in June and August where the fastest cars will be gunning for the outright record currently held by Martin Groves in a Gould GR55 V8. To experience what it feels like to do 147mph up Shelsley, you can ride on board with Jos Goodyear on the new website as he broke the magical 23 second barrier. The ever growing Classic Nostalgia event in July is a high point on many peoples motor sport list with an array of classic, retro, vintage and rally cars.

Other events at Shelsley Walsh in 2018 include the monthly Breakfast Club, a big celebration weekend of the Jaguar XK120, the VSCC event in July, the Driving School, ‘Black Plate Wednesday’ for classic cars and the focus of the UK’s cycling world in October with the National Cycle Hill Climb Championship.

Drivers can enter on line for Shelsley events to save time and paperwork while application for membership of the 117 year old Midland Automobile Club can also be made on the new site. Membership of the MAC enables members free entry to Shelsley Walsh events throughout the year as well as supporting the future of the hill and being the first to hear about future plans. Membership increased in 2017 with plans for more benefits being made available to members in the future.

Tickets can be bought online for all events to ease congestion on event days with discount given for advance purchases compared to ‘on the gate’ prices, and for those wanting to make a weekend of it in the Worcestershire/Herefordshire borders there’s a list of local accommodation too.
