– Audi drivers make up eleven positions in spectacular E-Prix
– Lucas di Grassi finishes in second place in Formula E for the third consecutive time
– Daniel Abt drives from 14th on the grid to seventh position

In round eight of the Formula E electric racing series in Paris, Lucas di Grassi and Daniel Abt again electrified the crowd with spectacular fightbacks. After a difficult qualifying, the two Audi drivers made up a total of eleven positions in the race. Round three of the Toyo Tires MSA British Rallycross Championship heads north to Croft Circuit next Sunday (6th May) with a host of local drivers looking for glory on home ground.

Following the opening round at Silverstone in March and round two at Lydden Hill over Easter, multiple British Rallycross champion from Kent, Julian Godfrey (Mitsubishi Mirage), leads Welsh-based Manxman and former British Rally champion, Mark Higgins (Peugeot 208) by just three points. Last year saw our first visit to the Rallye de Wallonie and we could not resist a return visit. A total of 22 stages saw a tough battle at the top. After the opening pair of stages round the citadel in Namur, Adrian Fernémont & Samuel Maillen (Fabia R5) held a slender lead over Cédric Cherain & Filip Cuvelier (Fabia R5) with 2017 Belgian Rally Champions Vincent Verschueren & Veronique Hostens (Fabia R5) completing the top 3. As the real meat of the rally started Verschueren picked up the pace and by lunchtime had taken over at the top with Fernémont slipping down to 3rd place behind Cherain. Read More »
