Nationwide Accident Repair Services travels to the world-famous Monza for rounds five and six of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB season as championship leader in the hands of Dino Zamparelli.

In the cool and wet conditions at Donington Park last time out, Dino scored a second and third place finish to remain on top of the Drivers’ standings. While he was the fastest driver on track in race one he was unable to find a way past for the lead despite constant pressure, and in race two had to defend while trying to challenge the top two cars, settling for third.

“We were close to the win in race one and we were fast, but not fast enough overall,” said Zamparelli. “We got the fastest lap but working on how I can improve on that is something we have to do with the team at Nationwide and Redline Racing.

“Monza is a big, wide-open circuit. It is fast, straight-line speed is important, and it is all about braking zones: getting the car stopped and out of the corners. I’m excited to see how we get on as I’ve never been around there in a Porsche. Free Practise 1 will be the first time so I am looking forward to attacking it and seeing what it brings.

“I know the circuit well from my time in GP3 so that will definitely help but it is a different ball game in the Porsche. It’s a bigger and heavier car so we’ll see how it plays out but we look forward to challenging there.”

To be successful in business as well as motorsport, it is important to attract the best talent. Nationwide believes that by building and developing a team of winners means it can continue to be the employer of choice for talented individuals. This belief aligns with that on the race track, where success is built by recruiting and developing the very best team possible.

People are central to the success of the company, which is why Nationwide are celebrating the talented individuals who work with the company by flying out 11 of their company annual award winners to Italy to celebrate their excellence in style at the circuit. The Nationwide Annual Awards are designed to celebrate hard-work and outstanding achievements across the group. These awards encapsulate many of the core values at Nationwide, including working as a team, always looking for continuous improvements, and people being central to its success.
