The FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy is bringing its superstar drivers and spectacular machinery to Channel 4 this season in a move that will further expand the series’ growing fanbase.

The new agreement will see UK audiences enjoy an action-packed hour-long broadcast of highlights from each round of the world championship. This includes the upcoming World RX of Great Britain, held for the first time at Silverstone as part of the Speedmachine festival.

Headlined by its 600BHP cars capable of reaching 0-60mph in just 1.9secs and a high-quality field of drivers, including Petter Solberg, Sebastien Loeb and Johan Kristoffersson, the World Rallycross Championship will complement Channel 4’s international motorsport programming alongside its coverage of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

World RX Managing Director for IMG, Paul Bellamy, commented: “We are thrilled to be bringing the World Rallycross Championship to Channel 4 this year. Channel 4 is the popular home for international motorsport on UK screens, making it a perfect fit for World RX with its fast-paced, spectacular racing. With its large audience reach and multiple viewing platforms, we see this agreement with Channel 4 as an excellent opportunity for World RX to further broaden its growing fan base.”

Programming is also available to view via Channel 4’s comprehensive All4 on demand catch-up service online. Check listings for broadcast schedules.
