An excellent first and final loop of stages saw Osian Pryce finish second on a wet, windy and extremely slippery SGC Printing Harry Flatters National A Rally, on what was his first asphalt event in a rear-wheel drive car. An engine misfire and an overshoot on the middle loop of stages were his only concerns, as he beat all but two of the four-wheel drive cars and would have finished fourth overall in his Escort Mk2, had the National A and B categories been combined. Reigning MSA Junior Rallycross champion Tom Llewellin maintained his championship challenge with a second place in difficult conditions at round six of the MSA British Rallycross Championship held at Croft in North Yorkshire this weekend.

The 17 year old from Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire was again contesting the Swift Sport Championship for Peter Gwynne Motorsport (PGM) in the Suzuki Swift and after a DNF in the opening heat, caused when a fellow competitor collided with him, Llewellin went on to win the second and third heats in the windy and damp conditions.
