With just two weekends left in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB season, Nationwide Accident Repair Services heads to Silverstone this weekend (September 8/9) as championship leader Dino Zamparelli aims to increase his advantage.

Summer sunshine gave way to heavy rain at Knockhill in Scotland when the series last took to the track, but Dino drove well to stay on track and secure a podium finish in a race beset by safety car periods as others slid into the barriers.

Success on the track is achieved by utilising an adaptive strategy and making the very best of the opportunities presented during the race. Being able to change plans in an agile and timely manner is a belief shared by Nationwide Accident Repairs which is why it supports Dino Zamparelli in his quest for championship success.

Dino performed well at Silverstone last year, starting second on the grid and coming away with two race victories and will not be satisfied with anything other than the top step of the podium this time out.

Nationwide Brand Ambassador driver Dan Cammish enjoyed a successful weekend at Knockhill in the British Touring Car Championship in August, taking his maiden pole position and scoring two podium finishes. He currently sits tenth in the overall standings and leads the Jack Sears Trophy with six races remaining.

Nationwide’s popular Race Hub will once again be present at Silverstone, where guests can try to beat Dino’s time on the Nationwide Porsche Simulator. There’ll be collections for Cancer Research UK, Nationwide’s chosen charity of 2018, and on Sunday Nationwiders will be treated to an exclusive session to meet Dino, where he will sign autographs and pose for photographs. For more information on the weekend head to the Nationwide Racing website.

The Porsche Carrera Cup GB cars have an exclusive test day on Wednesday September 12, with practice taking place on Friday September 14 at 09:00 and 13:30. The all-important qualifying session is a day later at 13:00, with two 28-lap races taking place on Sunday September 16 at 11:15 and 16:20, with the latter broadcast live on ITV4 and ITV Hub online.
