The race is on… Earlybird tickets now available for 2019 Donington Historic Festival

Earlybird tickets are now on sale for the 2019 Donington Historic Festival, offering extra savings over the already discounted advance ticket prices. Classic motorsport fans have until January 31 2019 to take advantage of the additional savings and secure their place at the world-class historic racing event taking place at Donington Park on May 3, 4 and 5 next year.

The Earlybird offer also comes in plenty of time for Christmas – neatly solving the annual problem of what to pop under the tree for a historic motorsport enthusiast!

Procter lead Croft Rally entry

Local fans are expected to turn out in force once again for the popular Swift Signs and Shirts Christmas Stages Rally which takes place within the confines of Croft Circuit near Darlington this Sunday (16th December).

Despite being held a little earlier than normal this year, entries for Northallerton Automobile Club’s annual extravaganza rapidly filled and sees one of the strongest fields assembled in recent years with an eclectic mix of cars and drivers set to contest the event which comprises eight stages of varying routes around the North Yorkshire racetrack.

All-star driver line-up confirmed for the competitive debut of the McLaren 720S GT3 in Abu Dhabi

– Ben Barnicoat, Alvaro Parente and Shane van Gisbergen to drive McLaren 720S GT3 at Gulf 12 Hours on December 13-15
– Endurance race at the Abu Dhabi Yas Marina circuit will be the competitive debut of the new 720S GT3 race car
– 720S GT3 is the first car designed and built by McLaren Automotive’s in-house motorsport department
– Car will be entered by in-house McLaren Customer Racing team for debut race

Three-time World Champion Andy Priaulx joins Lynk & Co Cyan Racing

Three-time World Champion Andy Priaulx has joined Lynk & Co Cyan Racing for the 2019 FIA World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) in a multi-year contract, making for a total of eight World titles within the team together with his new team-mates Yvan Muller and Thed Björk.

“I’m delighted to become a Lynk & Co Cyan Racing driver and I have no doubt that we are in a strong position to fight for the overall title already in our first year,” said Andy Priaulx.
