Monza Rally Show always marks the end of another racing year for Baggsy. But it never fails to be the ultimate season closer. Returning to the famous concrete bankings of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Baggsy spent the past weekend shredding the tyres of his freshly rebuilt 520hp Nissan S14a.

With the grandstands packed full of motorsport enthusiasts, and media from every corner of the globe. It is no surprise that Monza Rally Show is a three day, non stop petrol fuelled frenzy.

In its 39th edition, the show still has the same high energy buzz every year. It would be the 5th year running for Baggsy, and the loyal fan base were out in force. Opening each stage of the rally with fellow Monster Energy driver Liam Doran, Baggsy also took a lucky few for a smokey passenger ride around the legendary F1 circuit.

There is no better way to finish off the year for Baggsy and the team. Tearing around the Autodromo Nazionale Monza and putting on smoke shows for the amazing fans, it really is an honour. So that is it for another amazing year, but there is no rest for the wicked. 2019 is just around the corner, and there is a lot of exciting plans for Baggsy and the team.

Baggsy: It’s been another awesome visit to Monza for this year’s rally show. The car was incredible, the crowd was insane, and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing! Everyone is always so enthusiastic here – especially the Rossi fans! As a driver it always really gets you going when you get such a warm reception – Monza is a legendary place in motorsport, so a visit here never disappoints. It’s always a real highlight to drive around the F1 circuit bankings on the original (old) sections of the circuit too. When you drive around the back of the track, where you don’t think anyone is watching and then you find these massive pockets of people; it’s crazy. It’s great to be able to show off drifting to a different crowd as well. A lot of the fans here have just come to watch the rallying – they’ve probably never watched a drift car in real life – so I think Monza is a great opportunity to elevate the sport of drift, and show what we can do to a different group of motorsport fans.
