Chesterfield rally driver Rhys Yates proved his pace in the World Rally Championship this season has been no fluke, by securing an impressive fifth overall in the WRC2 category at a challenging Tour de Corse (28-31 March).

Driving his Brettex Skoda Fabia R5, Yates and co-driver James Morgan battled against some of the quickest young drivers in the feeder series to the WRC, setting a string of inspiring stage times on their way to yet another top result. Added to a career-best fourth at Rallye Monte Carlo and tenth at Rally Sweden, Yates is sixth in the WRC2 championship and just five points away from second spot. Read More »

The Dakota ZA947 will be flying over Sywell Classic: Pistons & Props on Sunday 22nd September 2019!

The aircraft was adopted by Strike Command and issued to the BBMF in March 1993. In 2004, an original and authentic floor and interior was re-fitted to the Dakota, returning the cabin to the original, wartime specification. There are now no other multi-engine tail wheel aircraft in RAF service outside the BBMF – proving the Dakota is an important training asset used for initial training of aircrew. Read More »

IMG Motorsports today launches a ground-breaking initiative with the planned introduction of a dynamic electric racing element to the FIA World Rallycross Championship weekend.

The concept, titled Projekt E, will see electric-powered cars compete on the same weekend as traditional Supercars.
