SpeedMachine will host Europe’s largest collection of customised supercar exotica from Liberty Walk, the specialist automotive tuning company, as part of a head-turning array of on and off-track action at Silverstone from May 25-26.
The assortment of cars will include a stunning BMW i-8, along with a Lamborghini Aventador, Ford Mustang and Nissan GT-R all featuring Liberty Walk’s unique take on design treatment.
They will be housed along the Liberty Walk Boulevard at the heart of the festival, and will also feature in an on-track supercar cavalcade.
Liberty Walk, established by the legendary Wararu Kato, dares to be different when it comes to customised supercars – as visitors to SpeedMachine will witness first hand.
On track, the iconic Group A and Group B rally cars will provide fire-spitting demonstration runs. Among them will be the ex-Ari Vatanen Ford Escort Cosworth and Will Gollop’s mighty RX MG Metro 6R4.
If 1,500hp of methanol injection is your thing, then look no further than the Red Mist dragster. Lee Gallimore’s machine will perform thunderous burnouts each day as well as dyno shows in the paddock. Fans are advised not to blink and risk missing Joel Kerr’s 2,200hp 1956 Pontiac Star Chief nitro funny car.
British Racing Trucks will lend some additional muscle to proceedings with two divisions of racing, while off-road action comes in the shape of Ultra 4 Europe competition.
Dirt Rally 2.0, the official game of the FIA World Rallycross Championship, will offer visitors the chance to become the SpeedMachine champion and the stars of tomorrow (aged 8+), can try Teesside Karting on a bespoke layout right next to the World RX track.
Meanwhile, RacingLine will provide passenger rides in a fleet of Golf GTI and R models.
Oh, and did we mention HPI radio-controlled racing and the Monster Energy Drift Championship?
The Dayinsure World RX of Great Britain, the UK leg of the FIA World Rally Cross Championship, presented by Monster Energy is the racing centrepiece of the SpeedMachine Festival. The British event is round four of the 2019 World RX championship.
SpeedMachine, the ultimate adrenaline-fuelled weekend, brings together an assortment of motorsport activity, street food and world-class entertainment including headline acts Sean Paul and Jax Jones.
