It was back to Sunny Spain this past weekend for Baggsy. And this time he got to play on the world famous F1 Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

With the FIA World Rally Cross descending upon the Spanish community of Catalonia, Baggsy and the #LSXR35 came to bring the noise to the party. Kicking off the weekend with a photoshoot on the F1 start line, the #LSXR35 looked right at home.

Joined by fellow Monster Energy athlete Luke Woodham and in front of a crowd of 25k crazy WRX fans. Baggsy brought the Monster Energy smoke show with four demos over the course of the weekend. And to top it off, a couple of lucky fans got to join him in the passenger seat.

Along with the smoke shows, Baggsy was there to support his friends and fellow Monster Energy athletes Liam Doran and Andreas Bakkerud of The RX Cartel. After a hard fought battle, Bakkerud took the 3rd step on the podium.

At the other end of the paddock was the Open Slalom Drift competition. The organisers kindly invited Baggsy to come join the locals for a quick drift session. Baggsy didn’t turn down the opportunity to really stretch the legs of the #LSXR35 on the F1 circuit.

Baggsy- It’s always great to be in the mix at World Rally Cross events. It’s a crazy atmosphere with some of the best fans in the world. Also being let loose with the #LSXR35 on the famous F1 Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya was awesome. The grandstands were packed for the four smoke show demos, and the energy from the crowd gives you such a buzz! I also got invited to have a play in the local Spanish ‘Open Slalom Drift’ championship. It was great to see their drift scene going strong, and to hang out with some local drivers too.

Next up for Baggsy is Japfest at Silverstone on the 5th of May, armed with his freshly built V8 PS13.
