Welcome to the Race and Rally – Rally2 Championship Update and points tables after round 4, The Eventsigns Woodpecker Stages Rally.

A long day in the Shropshire and Welsh Marches forests was in order for the fourth round of the series, with all 2WD crews running first on the road in a reverse seeded order. With several title protagonists missing from the entry list, the event could offer the chance for a points table shake up….and it did.

Rudi Lancaster and Guy Weaver led the Open and Overall honours heading into the rally but an early exit from the event meant the title would now have to be decided on the final round of the series in Scotland on the Roger Albert Clark Sunday event.

Henri Grehan had been looking for a strong finish all season but was out of luck until his home event, and the Ludlow pilot not only finished, but won the Rally2 category in the process. Added to his previous scores, he, along with Lancaster, Phil Burton and David Dobson will be embroiled in a fight for the title on the final round. All classes will also go down to the wire!

Roger Albert Clark Rally
Regulations for the single day South of Scotland event, part of the Roger Albert Clark Rally on set to be released in the next week or so and will form the final round of the series.

You will be able to score points if contesting the full event as the times will be taken from the leg and used as the tally for results.

We understand the single day event will offer the best value for money (£ per mile) of any forest rally this year and it would be great to see you all out on the stages in Scotland.

We will announce the regulations on our social platforms.
