September would see the final round of the Drift Masters European Championship roll into Mondello Park, Ireland. With a revised track layout and a championship fight on the cards, it promised to be another action packed weekend.

Two days of good weather and practice allowed the drivers to get familiar with the new track layout. Baggsy and the team to took time to dial in his #PS13V8 for the demanding line ahead of qualifying. But the main event soon came knocking. And in true Irish fashion, so did a change in weather conditions.

With the grandstands packed out, and over 500k online viewers. It was time to get qualifying underway. But the rain had started to fall, causing adverse track conditions. Baggsy would put down two solid qualifying runs and put himself in 6th place for qualifications. Although the weather continued to worsen, the show had to go on.

The Top 32 would see Baggsy go up against Daniel Brandner. After pulling an advantage in both his lead and chase runs, Baggsy would win the battle and proceed on to the Top 16 bracket. For Top 16 Baggsy would meet Andrius Vasiliauskas. With standing water on the track, Baggsy would take the lead position. But after initiation, Baggsy would hit an aquaplane and make contact with the wall. Not one to be fazed, Baggsy returned to the start line to finish his battle and throw down a textbook chase run. But due to his crash in the lead position, Vasiliauskas would take the advantage and unfortunately end his weekend early.

Next up for Baggsy was WRC Wales. Armed with the #LSXR35, Baggsy would join Monster Energy’s Petter Solberg on his Farewell Tour for some tyre shredding smoke shows at Oultan Park.

Joined by Tessa Whittock and Luke Woodham, Baggsy kept the crowds entertained ahead of the first WRC stages in true fire breathing style.

And straight off the back of his WRC smoke show demos, it was time for Baggsy to jump on a plane to the other side of the pond for another NASCAR appearance. This time around it would be Dover International Speedway, Delaware playing host to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

Back behind the wheel of his newly built #S13V8, Baggsy joined fellow Monster Energy athletes ‘The Unknown’ plus a whole host of FMX riders. With 100,000 people in attendance over the NASCAR weekend, the crowds for each smoke show demo were packed out.

Baggsy- It’s been a super busy few weeks for myself and the team. First up was the DMGP Final, which was an awesome event. Unfortunately, i n true Irish style the weather played havoc during the main event. With a waterlogged track during the Top 16, I unfortunately aquaplaned on initiation which cause me to take a dive into the wall. Luckily there wasn’t too much damage to my #PS13V8, but it did end our weekend early. It was great to head out to WRC GB for some demos ahead of the race weekend. Im a massive fan of the rally, so it was a great pleasure to entertain the crowds with some smoke shows.

The fun did not stop there as it was straight onto a plane headed for the USA. I was very excited to be returning to Dover International Speedway for NASCAR after 2 years. As always the crowds at NASCAR are awesome, and it was great fun putting on the Monster Energy Smoke Shows with The Unknown guys and more. And being able to go check out the race from the Inner Circle was once again mind blowing.
