NASCAR, one of motorsports highest ranking series. For this round Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni and his team flew across the pond from Essex, UK to LAX and a short trip to Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. To play hosts to our first NASCAR appearance of 2020, and to produce the awesome one of-a-kind Smoke Show demos across the weekend. Showing pure NASCAR fans what drifting is all about!

The #S13V8 we shipped out to America back in early 2019 was Baggsy’s ride for the weekend, the Harrop Performance Powered Supercharged LS3 full competition spec car ready to shred. We couldn’t wait for the next morning to come for our first session.

Baggsy joined fellow Monster Energy athletes Casey Currie and Unknown Industries riders this time with six demos over the course of the weekend, and with NASCAR attendance well over 80,000 people, the crowds for each demo were packed out.

Baggsy also lent his Nissan S13 to some of the big names out there for their own demos, one of the highlights was seeing Jeremy Stenberg AKA ‘TwitchThis8’ drift the supercharged LS3, with Baggsy riding shotgun! Check out his YouTube for the full video.

Some of the other lucky drivers who managed to talk their way into the drivers seat were, Sara Price (SaraPriceMX) and Axel Hildebrand (Sunocos14)

Passanger rides also went to Brandi Leigh (BrandiPassante), Unknown (Unknown Industries), Seth Brisson (ASliceOfSeth).

Our smoke shows only ran in the mornings each day so the fans could watch us, and not miss out on any of the action on track. Once we had finished we managed to witness the NASCAR madness too, it’s always crazy to see this series of motorsport as it differs so much from anything in the UK!

Baggsy – “NASCAR.. It’s always so much fun coming over to America for these events, the fans really are hyped. And this event didn’t disappoint! Heading back stateside to drive my #S13V8 infront of so many NASCAR fans was awesome, and to be able to give so many passenger rides over the weekend was crazy too! I even let a few of them drive.. Definitely head over to Twitch’s Youtube to check out what he had to say about the car.

I’ll be back soon!”
