Motorsport is well and truly #BackOnTrack, with two successful weekends behind us and the continual confirmation of events within the new sporting calendar.

Glorious sunshine heralded the return last weekend of Autosolos, Autotests, Circuit Racing, Cross Country and Karting events throughout the British Isles. Following the resumption of the sport in England and Jersey, the island of Guernsey held its first motorsport activity since the coronavirus pandemic began. We can also look forward to motorsport resuming in Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Isle of Man during the next few weeks.

Coming up, another packed weekend of accessible, cost-effective motorsport, with over 40 events due to take place, including further evening events to make the most of the long summer days. It is heart-warming to see more and more clubs restarting their motorsport season and showcasing the full spectrum of disciplines.

With each event and we are continually learning and finding new ways to successfully unlock even more of motorsport. In this second edition of our weekly guidance update we share those learnings as they relate to Race, Speed, Club Sport and Karting, as well as the welcome the resumption of Rallying in the UK.

We would also like to take this opportunity to reiterate our appreciation for all of our volunteers, who work tirelessly to organise and deliver events for our community. Your support is invaluable, and we appreciate any feedback you may have following the practical application of the guidance. The resumption of motorsport is a team effort and we are thankful for your collaboration.
