Out again at Down Ampney and it was Will Nicholls & Nick Broom (Fiesta R5+) who took victory by over half a minute, on the Corinium Stages. Nicholls was fastest on 5 stages in total, joint fastest on two, and had opened up at 20s lead after the opening two stages. James Self & Ian Davis (Fiesta R5) were 2nd just 2s ahead of Damian Cole & Dale Bowen (Fabia R5). Another pair of stages saw Philip Hopkins & Dave Jenkins (Evo VI) jump up into 2nd place, after fastest and joint fastest stage time. Hopkins was bang on it now and after 6 stages Nicholls held a 31s lead. He then dropped 8s on stage 7 following some confusion at a split for Nicholls.

Sadly Hopkins had a water pump fail on the final stage and instead of recording a superb 2nd overall, in a 20+ year old car, he retired. Nicholls made no mistakes and took victory by 38s as Cole inherited 2nd place, with Oliver Hopkins & Ian Taylor (Mirage R5) completing the podium. Josh Payton & Jamie Vaughan (Escort MkII) were the first 2WD crew home, in 6th overall, backing up their win just a few weeks earlier at Down Ampney.
