13 Ecosse J1000 crews line up to tackle the Memorial Garden Stages Rally, based at RM Condor in Arbroath. Topping the entry once again, Sam Pattison & Paul Whittaker are fresh from victory at the previous round at Kames. The Red Citigo is unbeaten in 2022, winning every round contested this year.

Kalum Graffin is the only other driver to take a win in 2022, on the opening round at Ingliston showground. The previous round at Kames ended badly with a visit to the gravel trap on the final stage. Kalum has Josh McErlean in the hotseat for the 1st time this year.

Jack Ryan & Robin Nicolson have made a habit of grabbing podiums from behind after steady starts all season. The VW UP crew is seeded just ahead of points leaders Rian Walker & Stuart McBride.

Walker & McBride led early on at Kames in the damp and slippy morning conditions, boding well for the loose surface sections of Arbroath.

2nd in the points, Oliver Phillips didn’t particularly enjoy his visit to Kames last time out. The East Ayrshire track is not his favourite venue. Oliver has the ultra-experienced Paul Hudson navigating for this event.

Thomas Milne & Neil Jeffrey top the Micra entrants, the Pearson’s of Duns Trophy points leaders fresh from an excellent result at Kames.

The Micra just ahead of Evan Findlay & new navigator Thomas Purvin. Evan changing his driving style at the previous round after some tuition and was reaping the rewards until a loose wheel nut delayed his progress.

Ollie Forrester really impressed on his rally debut at Kames with the former champion co-driver George Myatt alongside. The Micra driver seeded just ahead of the car’s former crew Ruan Lowry & Ian McRae.

Ruan & Ian’s Yaris debut last time out ended prematurely with transmission problems before Ruan could adjust to his new mount.

Alfie Letham & Lucy Cree battled all day at Kames, the Micra & Citigo separated by just 1 second at the end of 16 stages.

Hopefully there will be more of the same at Condor.

Fraser Mack & Edward Runciman rounded out the finishers at Kames after a time consuming off early on

The 107 lines up ahead of Aaron Dickson who is making his debut in another Peugeot 107. Aaron has the experienced Tom Middlemiss alongside for his 1st J1000 start.
