The provisional entry list for November’s Roger Albert Clark Rally has been unveiled and features a total of 186 entries. The rally runs from November 23 to 27, covering around 350 stage miles in the forests of England, Scotland and Wales.
The entry list is made up of 180 accepted entries plus six reserves as an outstanding demand for entries on the five-day rally ensured that every available place was taken by an entry with a full deposit paid. However, entries remain open and any more that are received will be added to the existing reserve list.
The field, which represents the biggest and best entry ever for the rally, includes more than 80 drivers competing on the event for the first time, as well as former winners and leading contenders from the rally’s history. A total of 23 entries are from overseas crews, which brings tremendous variety to the field. Included in the entry are six entries listed as ‘to be announced’ at this point and the details of these entries will be announced in due course.
Rally manager Colin Heppenstall said: “The response has been amazing and it’s very good to know that people are keen to come and do the rally. We’ve got a fantastic variety of cars and I’m delighted to see so many new competitors joining the entry list as well as many of our loyal supporters.”
The next date in the entry process is April 2 when there will be a draw among all 180 accepted entries for one crew to receive a credit on the entry of £1000.
