Bas van Kamperdijk achieved an excellent 5th place during his first entry in the Hellendoorn Rally 2010. After taking victory in the Tank S Rallysprint earlier this year and a podium finish this summer in the German Gronegau Rallye, the Berdal director from Enter driving the group N Mitsubishi Evo IX switched to driving the bigger events in the Dutch rally calendar. Van Merksteijn Motorsport took last weekend an outright victory in the Hellendoorn Rally 2010. Bernhard Ten Brinke dominated the rally with the Ford Focus WRC 08 and led the field almost from the start. Bas van Kamperdijk and Tim Rietveld achieved an impressive result in their first big event amongst strong competition by finishing 5th in group N.

Van Merksteijn Motorsport will start Friday evening with two cars in the most beautiful rally of the Dutch season, the Hellendoorn Rally 2010. Bernhard Ten Brinke will open the rally with the Ford Focus WRC 08 and Bas van Kamperdijk will start his first big rally event with the group N Mitsubishi Evo IX. Van Merksteijn Motorsport claimed during the Grönegau Rallye a podium finish with Bas van Kamperdijk finishing in 3rd place with the Mitsubishi Evo IX. Van Merksteijn Motorsport scored this weekend a double victory in Emmeloord. Both in the rally and in the rallysprint the team from Hengelo won with a substantial margin. Bernhard Ten Brinke with the Ford Focus WRC 08 won the Tank S Rally and Bas van Kamperdijk was victorious in the Tank S Rallysprint with the Mitsubishi Evo IX. Read More »
