It was back to Sunny Spain this past weekend for Baggsy. And this time he got to play on the world famous F1 Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

With the FIA World Rally Cross descending upon the Spanish community of Catalonia, Baggsy and the #LSXR35 came to bring the noise to the party. Kicking off the weekend with a photoshoot on the F1 start line, the #LSXR35 looked right at home.

Joined by fellow Monster Energy athlete Luke Woodham and in front of a crowd of 25k crazy WRX fans. Baggsy brought the Monster Energy smoke show with four demos over the course of the weekend. And to top it off, a couple of lucky fans got to join him in the passenger seat. Read More »

Timmy Hansen rounded out an imperious weekend in Barcelona with victory in the final of the Cooper Tires World RX of Catalunya, round two of the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy.

Renault Sport Formula One Team’s Carlos Sainz drove a strong home race to finish in seventh place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for today’s Formula 1 Gran Premio de España Emirates, with the points gained taking the team to fourth place in the Constructors’ Championship. Azerbaijan delivered our best result to date since returning to the sport in 2016. We appreciate it took special circumstances, but it does not take anything away from the fact we are now in a position to capitalise on any opportunities. Our progress is clearly illustrated in the data in a number of ways; for example our gap to pole has halved from last year.

The start of the European season now needs to see a consolidation of that performance. We will be helped in Spain by a step on the engine side with new fuel and some aero tweaks to reflect the characteristics of the track. Read More »

Team PEUGEOT Total certainly didn’t have it easy as the newly-formed team tackled the first round of the World Rallycross Championship, with torrential rain swamping the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit on Saturday.
