British rally driver Steve Brown will tick off yet another discipline on his motorsport list, by contesting his first-ever full circuit race at the wheel of a historic 1965 Ford Mustang during the Classic Sports Car Club meeting at Donington Park on the 25th/26th September.

The Rochdale driver would exchange the rally stages for the rallycross tour in 2019, driving a BMW MINI in the Toyo Tyres British Rallycross Championship, finishing third in his rookie season. Read More »

The Classic Sports Car Club has announced its tenth race series: Turbo Tin Tops. Sponsored by The Motorsports School, based at Mallory Park, this is the only race series to cater exclusively for front-wheel drive turbo- and super-charged cars and hybrids.

A full season of eight, 40-minute, pit-stop races is planned for 2018, including one at Spa Francorchamps. Classes are designed to suit all makes and engine capacities, with hybrids being able to drop down a class.

The Classic Sports Car Club is pleased to announce two new 40-minute races, designed for post year 2000, production-based cars running to the clubs philosophy of simple rules. These two races will be titled ‘New Millennium’ and will take place at Donington Park on 30 August and Snetterton on 18 October 2014. If interest is shown, these races could form the basis of a new series for 2015.

The CSCC’s strapline is ‘Motorsport for cars of all ages’ and the club is as inclusive as possible, with simple and easy-to-understand rules. Recently, the club has taken increasing numbers of enquiries from racers wanting to join us, with cars which don’t quite fit our existing series, partly because they are just too new. Read More »
