Motor racing personalities gathered at the prestigious British Racing Drivers’ Club (BRDC) Clubhouse at Silverstone, Northamptonshire recently, to join members of the Women’s Motor Racing Associates Club, together with their friends and families, for the cheque presentations to the four main charities supported during the club’s 50th anniversary year in 2012.

The Chairman, Mrs Leonora Hill, started the proceedings by presenting Mrs Patty McLaren Brickett with a bouquet of spring flowers and announcing her as a new Patron.

Mrs McLaren Brickett thanked everyone and said: “I feel very proud to be a Patron. I was one of the earliest members, a founding vice president and a longterm Chairman and I am delighted to see the club is still flourishing.” Read More »
