Neil Williams and Peter James made a triumphant return to the FUCHS LUBRICANTS MSA British Historic Rally Championship to take maximum points on round five, the Harry Flatters Rally on Epynt (Sunday 29 July).

The Ford Escort Mk2 crew used all their experience of the daunting asphalt stages over the Epynt ranges in Wales as testing weather conditions added to the challenge. Paul Barrett, co-driven by Dai Roberts, strengthened his place at the top of the championship with an excellent second place despite limited prior Epynt knowledge. The award winners for the 2017 Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship and the Fuchs Lubricants RACRMC Historic Asphalt Rally Championship were celebrated at the Casa Hotel in Chesterfield on Saturday (3 February).

Around 130 competitors and their guests were on hand to cheer the major winners. In addition, Marty McCormack and Barney Mitchell collected the major award from the 2017 Roger Albert Clark Rally.

The overall champions for the BHRC, completing a record-breaking hat-trick of titles, were Jason Pritchard and Phil Clarke and they received their awards from Simon Blunt, General Secretary of the MSA. Read More »

Dessie Nutt and Geraldine McBride (Porsche 911) have been confirmed as overall champions in the Fuchs Lubricants RACRMC Historic Asphalt Championship following the seventh and final round, the Jersey Rally (13/14 October).

Although Nutt and McBride completed a perfect season score on round six on the Isle of Man in September, Roger Moran (BMW M3) could have matched their score. Read More »

For the second time this season, the Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship and the Fuchs Lubricants R.A.C. Historic Asphalt Championship come together on the same event; this week’s Rally Isle of Man (14-16 September).

The Fuchs Lubricants R.A.C. Historic Asphalt Rally Championship is organised by the Roger Albert Clark Rally Motor Club and is a dedicated asphalt championship for all categories of historic stage rally cars. Read More »

Rob Smith and Alun Cook took their second victory in the 2017 Fuchs Lubricants R.A.C. Historic Asphalt Rally Championship on round four, the Harry Flatters Rally on Sunday 30 July.

For the first time this season, the Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship and the Fuchs Lubricants R.A.C. Historic Asphalt Championship came together on the same event and a mighty battle for top Fuchs points raged between Smith/Cook and Neil Williams/Sion Jones in their Ford Escort Mk2s. After a tremendous day-long battle on Epynt, Cook took the championship maximum by just five seconds. Read More »
