Irishman Josh Moffett and co-driver John Rowan won the second round of the MSA British Rally Championship on April 8, after a weekend of attrition on the famous Circuit of Ireland. No fewer than four drivers held the lead during the two-day event, but the 23-year-old mastered the Belfast-based event in his Ford Fiesta R5 to claim a 27 second margin over Jonathan Greer and Kirsty Riddick in their Citroen DS3 R5. David Bogie and Kevin Rae made it three marques in the top three as they rounded out a Pirelli podium clean sweep in their Skoda Fabia R5.

100_Mull'15_081020-year-old Blair Brown from Kinross is eagerly looking forward to making his Irish rallying debut with Duns co-driver Richard Simmonds when the Scotsmen contests the DMACK Junior British Rally Championship this weekend at the Circuit of Ireland in his Ford Fiesta R2T.

Brown who has been rallying since 16 has faced a steep learning curve this year but so far he has acquitted himself well.  Commenting on the challenge ahead Blair Said “This is a massive event for us. Blair Brown MW16Perthshire based rally team, BBR Rallying kicked off their 2016 campaign with driver Blair Brown (20) and co-driver Richard Simmonds (45) achieving a steady drive under tricky artic weather conditions in Newtown, Wales last weekend (5th & 6th March). The duo successfully finished the first round of the DMACK British Junior Rally Championship in their Ford Fiesta R2T in a respectable 6th position following a 68-mile battle through the snowy Welsh mountains. Ryan Weston2015BTRDA 1400 front runner Ryan Weston has signed a deal this week to tackle the all new DMACK Junior British Rally Championship in a brand new M-Sport Ford Fiesta R2T.  The 19 year old from Aberdeen will use the one litre turbocharged machine in the newly announced series and will be run by Welsh preparation firm Melvyn Evans Motorsport, alongside Merion Evans in a similar car.
